My keys/phone/wallet were safely inside, of course, so I was stuck/screwed/in a bind. I tried to remember/think about/recall if I left a window open/had a spare key somewhere/told someone where I went, but nothing came to mind/my brain was fried/it was all a blur. Now I'm just standing here/staring at the door/feeling helpless, hoping someone sees me/comes by/feels sorry for me and can help.
